PRTG is a proprietary software tool that tracks the health and performance of Yamaha routers, switches, and other network hardware components. Available for Windows-based on-premises servers or as a cloud-hosted solution, it's capable of monitoring unlimited local, remote, and virtual devices, bringing critical system data together in one simple, intuitive interface you can access from anywhere: at the office, at home, or on the go.
PRTG connects to Yamaha devices using SNMP. Our SNMP sensors are preconfigured, which means they're designed to start monitoring specific device parameters straight away, without the need for any tweaking. You can also create device templates with the sensors you'd like to use, so you can spend less time setting up and configuring your monitoring environment, and more time doing higher-priority work (or chilling in the break room).
We've got the Paessler SNMP Tester for that. Once you've added the device to your monitoring environment, run the tester to find out whether it's compatible. Our tester will even tell you which versions of SNMP the device supports and whether the community string (for SNMP v1 and SNMP v2c) has been activated.
